When Madeleine shared the design inspiration for her Cape Cod wedding as “reflection off the water, pewter accents of a seashell” Claire — a classically trained painter — sprung into action, painting a canvas to use as a backdrop for some of the detail images and even devised a contraption to reflect ripples of water onto their invitation flat lays.


Fashion was incredibly important to them as well , so we further leaned into some more editorially charged moments through the day, while still balancing the laid-back nature of a wedding in Cape Cod. 


When you add up each small moment of intention, you create a collection of images that is truly greater than the sum of their parts.
